Wolfsbane - Casta Lace

Wolfsbane has a purple-blue base colour with heavy dark green speckles.

Wolfsbane is named after the plant genus Aconitum, known among others also as aconite, monkshood, wolfsbane, devil's helmet, etc. Most Aconitum species are extremely poisonous and must be handled very carefully.

Aconite and wolfsbane have been understood to be poisonous from ancient times, and are frequently represented as such in literature. In Greek mythology, the goddess Hecate is said to have invented aconite, which Athena used to transform Arachne into a spider.
