This year's Nocturne's advent yarn box is Gothic Horror. The box is inspired by folklore and gothic horror fiction, perfect for the dark,cold winter months, when the creatures of the night roam in the snowy forests and misty streets.

Each Yarn Box will contain 5 full 100g skeins of a Nocturne base of your choice. You can choose between a full set of skeins only, or a full set of skeins including at least 5 complementary goodies & trinkets for fellow collector magpies 🦇

The colour palette is focused on melancholy, dark winter tones with rich jewel accents, in line with Nocturne's moody palette, and as a love letter to Guillermo del Toro & Robert Eggers.

The sets are available in the following yarn bases:

Vespertine (75% Superwash Merino, 19.5 micron; 25% Nylon)
Eventide & Eventide DK (60% Superwash Merino, 20% Silk and 20% Yak)
Devana & Devana DK (80% Non-Superwash Corriedale, 20% Gotland)

The Gothic Horror Advent Yarn box is a pre-order item. The orders for boxes including trinkets will be closing at the end of October 2026, and the yarn only boxes in mid November 2026.

The yarn box will be shipped to you at the end of November 2026, to ensure the timely delivery of your parcel in time for advent.
