Myrkwood - Casta Lace

Myrkwood is a rich, dark pine green semisolid colourway.

The term Mirkwood derives from the forest Myrkviðr of Norse mythology. The novelist Sir Walter Scott used a Mirkwood in his 1814 novel Waverley, and then by William Morris in his 1889 fantasy novel The House of the Wolfings.

Of course, I was inspired by the Myrkwood of Tolkien’s fantasy world. Forests play a major role in the history of Tolkien's Middle-earth and are important in the heroic quests of his characters.
