I am thrilled to invite you into a garden like no other, where beauty and danger entwine, and every bloom whispers a deadly secret; Nocturne's first yarn collection, The Poison Garden !
Inspired by the alluring yet treacherous world of poisonous plants, our Poison Garden collection isn’t just yarn—it’s a love letter to the strange and the sublime. A celebration of nature’s most captivating tricksters, luring us in with their intoxicating colors and deceptive charm.
These colourways are for the forest dwellers, dreamers, and makers who find magic in the eerie and enchantment in the unexpected. Dare to weave your own dark fairytale out of these beautiful dark roots and stems?
The Poison Garden collection will open for preorders on Saturday, March 29th, 5 PM Amsterdam time and will stay open until April 30th. The shipping of orders will start as soon as mid April and will continue until mid May.
Nocturne will be at the same time replenishing the yarn shop with our regular stock, so don't forget to check for colourways you might have missed during the shop launch !
The Poison Garden will consist of ten colourways, all of which are inspired by deadly, but beautiful plants and their flowers:
- Foxglove
- Hemlock
- Bleeding Heart
- Mandrake
- Deadly Nightshade
- Moon Flower
- Henbane
- Wolfsbane
- Hellebore
- Morning Glory
These colourways will be available for preorder on both fingering and DK weight yarn bases that Nocturne has currently in stock.
On this occasion, we will also be introducing a brand new luxury yarn base: Spellbound.
Spellbound is a deliciously soft fingering weight yarn containing 55% Bluefaced Leicester and 45% Silk, with running length of 400m / 100g. The silk provides the fibres with additional strength as well as a beautiful luster. The yarn is fantastic for any kind of project that calls for supple, draping fabric. It is well-suited for everyone who enjoys the Extra softness and durability.
I'm beyond excited to show off all of the gorgeous colours and Spellbound!
With love,
🦇 Misha
